Val Dotson began working in the insurance industry in 1982 at Standard Insurance Company in Portland, Oregon. She was employed at their home office in the Group Underwriting Department for three years before relocating to the Boston area.
She joined Boston 128 Companies in 1985 as a New Business Clerk. Since then, she was worked for Boston 128 Companies in various administrative capacities, and in 1996 became Office Manager. In this role, she is responsible for general office administration including contract and licensing, budget and financial management and accounting. She also processes new business applications. While working at Boston 128 Companies she has had the opportunity to complete Levels 1-4, of the Loma exams, earning the Fundamentals of Life and Health Insurance Certificate.
